Thinking Together event - Action for Mental Health
Did you know that in the UK approximately 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem each year, and in England 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week (1)?
The effect of mental health issues resonates throughout the lives of those who suffer from illnesses as diverse as bipolar, anxiety, panic, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder, psychotic episodes, suicidal thoughts and self-harm – as well as their families and friends around them. Therefore, in an effort to improve the lives of those facing mental health issues the Thinking Together events were created.
